About The Event

This time we are talking about midlife, something that is often the subject of jokes. Fortunately it is a conversation that is beginning to be taken more seriously and companies like Channel4 are taking the lead in acknoweldging that menopause is a crucial transitional phase in the lives of women and that this natural event needs recognition and support.

Come and join our Banbury group for an insightly and important conversation.

MENOPAUSE: Towards open recognition and support

Over the past 20+ years, I have coached and mentored women of all ages and backgrounds to develop their own successful businesses and continue to do so.

In my mid-40s, I experienced challenges around peri-menopause, with symptoms such as night sweats, slight weight gain, mood swings, anxiety and periodic lack of focus. Thankfully, due to my own personal development, I was able to use positive strategies to cope with the negative effects these symptoms posed to my business.

After speaking with many women of a similar age, who are enduring similar issues, I realised that most women to do not have these skills to help them through what can be a very turbulent and challenging time in their life, which not only impacts on their health, relationships and home lives, but also on their careers.

Many of these women were feeling lost, their confidence and self-esteem were very low, some of them were suffering grief or a sense of emptiness because their children had left home, for some of them their marriages or relationships were breaking down, and others felt that they had no sense of purpose.

It dawned on me that, with my coaching and mentoring skills, and my own experience of all of these issues, and more, and how I overcame them, I could not only help other women start their own businesses, but also help them to navigate and conquer these very real and very painful problems.

That realisation has turned into another passion, and I am now on a mission to help as many women as I can thrive in their lives, careers and relationships by helping them step into their power and into the next exciting phase of their life.
