Our Banbury group was the second Mahwe group to be launched and has been going since May 2018. Together with our Banbury members, we have created a welcoming space that is open and positive where we have great conversations and listen to mind-expanding talks.
We meet on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month, 7.30 pm to 9.30 pm. We have regular speakers as well as facilitated conversations on a wide variety of topics.
What happens at a Mahwe evening?
7.30 pm Arrive, grab a drink from the bar (gin seems to be a fav in the group!) and enjoy a relaxing chat.
8.00 pm We open the meeting with a welcome and perhaps some news.
8.10 pm We'll tuck into some food and have a chat, it's a great time to get to know each other and catch up.
8.30 pm We'll listen to a 30 minute talk.
9.00 pm We'll have time for some questions and a group discussion.
9.30 pm This often comes too soon! We'll officially close the meeting so that anyone who has a babysitter or needs to shoot off can happily do so. Often some in the group will keep on chatting for a bit longer.

Meet Tanya Collins,
Hi! My name is Tanya, and I chair the Banbury Mahwe group. I am a Transformational Coach and was drawn to this wonderful and new way of conversation with a group of diverse folk with one thing in common – we are all seekers. Seekers of ideas, seekers of growth, seekers of deeper conversation about inspirational and thought-provoking topics.
It is a privilege to chair the meeting and to curate a safe space for development and trust, whilst we have laughter and discourse over ideas that stretch us and may even change us! We hear wonderful insightful talks, eating good food in great company! It is a wonderful space - if you are interested, come along and find out for yourself!

We enjoy a two course meal with a choice of simple pub classics such as fish and chips and apple crumble or chilli con carne and chocolate cake. There are also options to suit your individual dietary requirements.
